What two blogs in one day?! This can’t last 😉 I just wanted to say that it really is the little things that can make us feel good about ourselves. Just this morning, mine have been:
- Waking up at 6 am with a clear head to drive my daughter to the school bus stop at 6:50 am, not feeling spaced out or tired.
- Staying calm when my son spent breakfast time doing the homework he didn’t realise he had (but should have), and panicked about being the last to arrive at school.
- Having the wherewithal to start work early (without resentment), order the books my daughter needs for school and plan tonight’s dinner (OK, defrosted soup, but homemade!).
So, no major breakthroughs, but it’s the little things that can help keep us on the straight and narrow, and balanced.
